The villa’s stately two-story columned porch opens to a wide terrace that’s only separated from the beach by a row of swaying palms and a hedge for privacy. There, you’ll find daybeds in the sun, lounge chairs under umbrellas, a pool, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and a breezy al-fresco dining area. Inside the villa, there’s a quiet library with Wi-Fi where you can catch up on emails, exercise equipment so you can keep up with your routine and a media room where the whole family can relax. Since Pembroke House is part of the Ocean Club Estates, your stay includes access to Four Seasons Ocean Club.
Every detail of the luxury home’s exterior is charming and crisp, from the yellow and green color scheme to the fresh white trim and quaint brick driveway. The interiors are equally thoughtful and picturesque, with a traditional look that never feels stuffy. A long living room stretching across the front of the house has warm golden walls, a mix of slipcovered white sofas and bergere chairs and hanging lanterns for character, while the media room has a slightly more playful terracotta orange color scheme. The formal dining room pairs an ornate silver chandelier with a textured seagrass rug, and an inviting round breakfast table in the fully equipped kitchen is surrounded by clean white built-in bookcases hosting china and shell collections.
Each of the five bedrooms at Pembroke House has an en-suite bathroom and ceiling fan; the whole property is air conditioned. There are two bedrooms with king beds, including the master suite, two bedrooms with two twin beds each, and one bedroom with a queen bed.
Whether golf, a day at the beach, or the thrills of a resort strike your fancy, it’s all within easy reach when you vacation at Pembroke House. The rental villa is a 10-minute walk from Paradise Island Golf Club, less than 1 mile from both Paradise Island Beach Club and Four Seasons Ocean Club, and 2 miles from Atlantis Casino. At the end of your stay, plan on a 1.5-mile trip to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal or a 13-mile trip to Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau.
