Fall in love with the warm breezes, soft white sand and turquoise waters of Antigua at Bougainvilla. Set on Jumby Bay Beach in the Pond Bay community, the villa offers panoramic water views from nearly every room, not to mention access to resort amenities like pools and watersports equipment. Your stay at Bougainvilla starts with a greeting at the airport. Once you’ve arrived at the villa, relax on the ocean-view terrace, cross the lawn to the beach or hop in your personal golf cart to explore. Guests of the villa enjoy access to shared pools, a fitness center and sports equipment. Pedal around on resort bicycles, test your putting skills on the croquet lawn and learn about local wildlife at the Hawksbill Turtle Project. Meals and beverages at the Jumby Bay Resort are included in your stay.

Vaulted ceilings, open-plan layouts and louvered doors give the interiors of Bougainvilla a spacious, relaxed feel, where the ocean is almost always visible and warm bay breezes can make their way indoors. Wicker furniture with vibrant green and yellow cushions in the living and dining rooms adds to the casual vibe, and a fully equipped kitchen makes dining in (or preparing an afternoon snack) a pleasure.

There are two bedrooms on the villa’s main floor and one on the upper level that’s reached by a spiral staircase; all three have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans. On the main floor, the master suite has a king bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The upper-level bedroom has a king bed.

If you’re flying to Antigua, plan on a 5-minute drive from V.C. Bird International Airport to the ferry docks, a 7-minute ferry ride from Antigua proper to Jumby Bay and a half-mile walk or ride from the Jumby Bay ferry dock to the villa. Once you’ve arrived at Bougainvilla, Jumby Bay Beach is at your doorstep, Pasture Bay Beach and the Hawksbill Turtle Project are a 1-minute walk away.

• There are mandatory airport transfer fees.
• Guests arriving into V. C. Bird International Airport in Antigua can connect to Jumby Bay Island with the Jumby Bay resort ferry. A mandatory $85.00 per adult transfer fee includes a welcome at Antigua’s airport and escort by private car or van to the resort’s private ferry for journey to Jumby Bay. The transfer fee also includes return transfers to Antigua’s airport upon departure. Transfers are $40.00 + applicable taxes round-trip for children ages 2-12 years old and are complimentary for children under 2 years of age.
• Airport transfer fees for Guests arriving via private plane are available upon request. The current fee for Guests arriving via private plane is $150.00 + applicable taxes. This fee is a flat rate charged by the government, and is additional to the transfer fee charged by Jumby Bay.
