Your stay at Hummingbird starts when you’re greeted at the airport and continues with a ferry ride to the private island where Jumby Bay Resort is located. As a guest, you’ll enjoy shared pools, fitness and tennis facilities, watersports equipment and a complimentary golf cart and bicycles. When you’re not on the beach, challenge friends and family on the croquet lawn or practice your stroke on the putting green. Your stay includes meals and beverages in the resort’s restaurant and bar, but you can also relax in private at the villa’s plunge pool and terrace with lounging and dining areas.

The villa’s airy great room opens to the terrace, so you have ocean views from the living room, formal dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Neutral upholstery on the sofas is accented by green and orange pillows for a lively but casual feel, and the color scheme continues on a weathered green armoire in the dining area and pistachio cabinets in the kitchen. A garden-style breakfast area gives bistro style a tropical twist, with turquoise wrought-iron seating, trellis-covered walls and colorful tile on the tabletop.

Hummingbird has two bedrooms on the ground floor and one on the second floor; all three have en-suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The ground-floor master suite has a king bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds and opens to the terrace. Upstairs, the bedroom has a king bed.

From the villa’s location on Jumby Bay Beach, it’s a 1-minute walk to Pasture Bay Beach and  the Hawksbill Turtle Project and just over a half-mile to the Jumby Bay ferry docks. At the end of your stay, plan on a 7-minute ferry ride back to Antigua proper and a 5-minute drive from the Antigua ferry dock to V.C. Bird International Airport.

• There are mandatory airport transfer fees.
• Guests arriving into V. C. Bird International Airport in Antigua can connect to Jumby Bay Island with the Jumby Bay resort ferry. A mandatory $85.00 per adult transfer fee includes a welcome at Antigua’s airport and escort by private car or van to the resort’s private ferry for journey to Jumby Bay. The transfer fee also includes return transfers to Antigua’s airport upon departure. Transfers are $40.00 + applicable taxes round-trip for children ages 2-12 years old and are complimentary for children under 2 years of age.
• Airport transfer fees for Guests arriving via private plane are available upon request. The current fee for Guests arriving via private plane is $150.00 + applicable taxes. This fee is a flat rate charged by the government, and is additional to the transfer fee charged by Jumby Bay.
