Your group of fifteen will fall in love with the privacy and proximity of Sombras del Viento, a luxurious Mexican beachfront estate situated along Soliman Bay. With lush tropical jungle and incredible ocean views decorating its exterior, this villa displays the gorgeous environment of the Riviera throughout its sandy beachfront property. If you feel like a change of scenery, the vibrant city of Playa del Carmen is just a short drive from home. You’ll also find golf, shops, restaurants, and all of the essentials in the town of Tulum.

From the terracotta floor to the hay-thatched roof, and everywhere in between, Sombras del Viento is bursting with Mexican character. Rustic-chic wood and stone features display traditional Mayan Riviera construction, while state of the art appliances and electronics add a touch of luxury to the breezy beachfront atmosphere. Locally crafted works of art, bright textiles, and mosaic tiling give the villa a refreshing, cheerful vibe. Each bedroom has a style all its own. And, the open concept dining/living area is perfect for group gatherings, while smaller spaces for more intimate moments are also quite easy to find.

Outside, the villa’s beautiful beachfront terrace is decorated with hay-thatched palapas, furnished lounge areas, alfresco dining, and even an outdoor kitchen with a charcoal grill. You’ll love cooling off in the swimming pool, or better yet, take the kayak out and explore the bay. Back inside, the festivities continue in the games room, and at the pool table.

Exploring the Mayan Riviera is as rewarding as it is beautiful, and a great place to start is the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. Spend an afternoon investigating the ancient stone ruins of the Riviera’s earliest civilization; it’s an exciting trip for the whole family. After, head for dinner in Playa del Carmen on Quinta Avenida, an exciting pedestrian street lined with dining, nightlife, and shopping establishments. While you’re in Playa del Carmen, stop in at Mamitas Beach to watch the sunset from a beachfront bar.

• This destination may be affected by the Seaweed Surge impacting many Caribbean destinations. Luxury Retreats and/or the Host’s responsibility extends solely to the immediate premises of the rented Property, and that no compensation will be considered in relation to limitation in the experience of the destination that may come as a consequence to the Seaweed Surge or with the local cleaning efforts.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Firm 95 days

• Cancel up to 95 days before your trip and get a 50% refund of accommodation fees. Cancel within 95 days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
