Your stay at the hacienda includes the services of a gourmet chef for three meals each day, villa manager and housekeeper, as well as welcome refreshments and bottled drinking water. (If you’ll be staying over the winter holidays, even more is included.) The villa features its own heated pool, an outdoor sound system, and al-fresco living and dining areas facing the beach for a resort-like, feel, plus a games room, bar, satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Sliding glass walls connect the villa’s open-concept great room to its beachfront outdoor living areas. Cool stone-tile floors are a respite from the warmth of the sun, while wood accents lend a welcoming vibe. Although chef service is included in your stay, there is a fully equipped kitchen.

There are seven bedrooms in the villa’s main house and four bedrooms in each of its two casitas. In the main house, there are five bedrooms with king beds and two with two twin beds each. Both casitas have two bedrooms with king beds and two bedrooms with two twin beds each. All except two of the casita bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms.

The oceanfront location of Hacienda Del Mar puts you right on Fatima Bay Beach, a 5-minute drive from the Puerto Aventuras Golf and Tennis Club, and a 15-minute drive from Xpu-Ha Beach and downtown Playa del Carmen. Be sure to leave time for a day trip to the ruins of Tulum, a 30-minute drive away, and Tulum itself, an increasingly popular honeymoon and getaway destination.

• Only registered guests staying at Hacienda Del Mar, Puerto Aventuras are permitted on the property.
• Hacienda Del Mar is rented with a minimum of 7 suites, excluding holiday weeks.
• Weddings and social events are permitted upon request with a maximum of 250 guests and at an additional cost.
