Villa Lunada is an luxury compound located within the prestigious La Punta Estates, inside the main gates of the Punta Mita, and just ½ mile from the St. Regis and 1 mile from the Four Seasons Resorts. The sweeping views from any and every part of the villa include the peninsula, the Bay of Banderas with the lights of Puerto Vallarta in the background, the Jack Nicklaus golf course and the brilliant waters of the Pacific.
Villa Lunada includes full time concierge, housekeeping staff, cook for breakfast and lunch and use of Pacifico and Bahio golf courses, 16 court grass and clay lighted tennis center and fitness center. Guests can enjoy the Residence Beach Club, Kupuri Beach Club, Sufi Beach Club and the St. Regis Beach Club. Chef for dinner can be arranged. Outdoors, an infinity pool with Jacuzzi overlooks the beach, a fire pit awaits guests on chilly evenings under the stars and a beach volleyball court is ready for a quick game anytime. The villa overlooks a top-notch surfing spot, with two additional surfing spots a short walk away. The compound also has its own onsite organic garden, for fresh ‘farm-to-table’ cuisine.
The house is designed to maximize indoor/outdoor living, and most bathrooms have indoor/outdoor showers. Common areas include a state-of-the-art kitchen, dining ‘pod’ and an open living room that leads out to the pool deck and unrestricted oceanfront views.
The main villa has a master bedroom with sitting room and gym, two additional master suites, and a bonus room, which can be transformed into a media room, a teenager’s hangout or a king suite, depending on your needs. The master suite itself is a fabulous spread, with an office, a library and a master living room with views of the Bay of Banderas from the huge soaking tub. With a total of four bedrooms this villa accommodates up to ten guests. The villa also has a rustic but cozy detached casita with garden view perfect for a couple or a teen.
Punta Mita is located on the Pacific Coast of Mexico in the state of Nayarit at the northern tip of the Bay of Banderas. Everyone can enjoy the public beach El Anclote. Over the years, this small Mexican fishing village has become infused with sophistication. There are some great authentic restaurants with palapas and loungers on the beach. From the beach, you can clearly see the nearby Las Marietas islands and arrange sightseeing trips by boat, rent a kayak, catamaran and snorkeling gear, or hire a panga with a guide to take you out whale watching.
