The villa opens to an expansive terrace facing the ocean with a heated pool, hot tub, and plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Bring snorkel gear and flotation devices down the steps to the beach for an afternoon of fun in the waves, then finish the day with dinner from the barbecue at the al-fresco table or a drink around the firepit. For evening entertainment, there’s satellite TV, a home theater, a ping-pong table and Wi-Fi.

Inside, Mi Corazon es el Mar pairs hacienda-inspired elegance with nods to the sea. The double-height living room features a brick fireplace and traditional furnishings, as well as a trophy fish mounted over the TV. Adjoining the living room is an open-concept dining area and fully equipped kitchen.

There are four bedrooms in the villa’s main house: three with king beds and one with two queen beds. The casita, which has one bedroom with a king bed and one with two queen beds, is perfect for parents with small children or a couple seeking a honeymoon-style retreat. All six bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms.

Make the most of Cabo’s warm, sunny weather with a round at a nearby golf course, a fishing excursion, a trip into the desert to drive ATVs or even a swim with whale sharks. For shopping, dining and nightlife, make the short drive into romantic San Jose del Cabo or livelier Cabo San Lucas.
