If unwinding on a beachfront villa surrounded by tropical gardens sounds like your dream getaway than you won’t need to look any further than Greensleeves, a luxurious home on Gibbs Beach. With access to two beaches, a Japanese water garden and plenty of room to host a large group, it’s easy to see why this is one of our grandest villas in Barbados. The island of Barbados is known for its fine beaches, warm climate and coral reefs.

On days when you want to hang around the villa, you’ll find plenty to do. The freeform swimming pool boasts a mini island with coconut trees and a swim-up bar, while those who want to keep active can work out in the fitness room, or go for a round of tennis on the courts, just across the road. There’s also a private cinema room that’s perfect for movie nights, and kids will love the jungle gym in the children’s wing.

In keeping with the tropics lifestyle, you’ll find an outdoor living area on the shaded verandah, complete with plush sofas, an exotic wood coffee table, and ceiling fans. If you feel like a home-cooked meal, there’s a fully equipped kitchen—but let the on-site chef take care of meals. Enjoy your dinner in the alfresco dining area, or in the formal room indoors. An on-site butler, maids and security guard also ensure everything is taken care of.

Up to 18 guests can stay overnight in this home, there are eight bedrooms (with an extra room available upon request), with two located in a separate cottage. Bedrooms include private terraces, air conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms and most rooms feature king beds. The children’s wing features two bedrooms with bunk beds.

Nearby is the beach where you can snorkel, sunbathe or try out water sports. The restaurants, shopping and vibrant nightlife options of historic Speightstown and Holetown are also close by, and avid golfers can get to Sandy Lane’s renowned course in 15 minutes.

Within the Greensleeves estate is a private villa, Blue Point. Blue Point is a 4-bedroom home that can be rented separately or together with Greensleeves. The villa has its own separate pool, amenities and staff.

Suitable for social events, the estate in its entirety can accommodate up to 30 adults, providing a truly intimate and special vacation for family and great friends.

HOUSE RULES

General rules

• No pets allowed
• Check-in is anytime after 3:00PM and check out by 12:00PM

Additional rules

• All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in.
• Please note: A 2.5% levy will be collected at the time of booking. This fee is calculated based on your nightly rate and is capped at USD$10 per bedroom, per night.
• Smoking permitted – outside area only.
• Ocean Suite is only available with nine bedroom rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Firm 95 days

• Cancel up to 95 days before your trip and get a 50% refund of accommodation fees. Cancel within 95 days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
