    If unwinding on a beachfront villa surrounded by tropical gardens sounds like your dream getaway than you won\u2019t need to look any further than Greensleeves, a luxurious home on Gibbs Beach. With access to two beaches, a Japanese water garden and plenty of room to host a large group, it\u2019s easy to see why this is one of our grandest villas in Barbados. The island of Barbados is known for its fine beaches, warm climate and coral reefs.<\/p>\n

    On days when you want to hang around the villa, you\u2019ll find plenty to do. The freeform swimming pool boasts a mini island with coconut trees and a swim-up bar, while those who want to keep active can work out in the fitness room, or go for a round of tennis on the courts, just across the road. There\u2019s also a private cinema room that\u2019s perfect for movie nights, and kids will love the jungle gym in the children\u2019s wing.<\/p>\n

    In keeping with the tropics lifestyle, you\u2019ll find an outdoor living area on the shaded verandah, complete with plush sofas, an exotic wood coffee table, and ceiling fans. If you feel like a home-cooked meal, there\u2019s a fully equipped kitchen\u2014but let the on-site chef take care of meals. Enjoy your dinner in the alfresco dining area, or in the formal room indoors. An on-site butler, maids and security guard also ensure everything is taken care of.<\/p>\n

    Up to 18 guests can stay overnight in this home, there are eight bedrooms (with an extra room available upon request), with two located in a separate cottage. Bedrooms include private terraces, air conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms and most rooms feature king beds. The children\u2019s wing features two bedrooms with bunk beds.<\/p>\n

    Nearby is the beach where you can snorkel, sunbathe or try out water sports. The restaurants, shopping and vibrant nightlife options of historic Speightstown and Holetown are also close by, and avid golfers can get to Sandy Lane\u2019s renowned course in 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
