Your stay at Casa Cantarena begins with an airport transfer, and a villa manager, cook and butler continue the personalized service throughout. Spend your days relaxing on the deck’s lounge area, splashing in the chlorine-free pool, playing with the provided beach toys or exploring the lagoon with the kayaks and snorkeling equipment. In the evenings, an overhead projection system brings your favorite movies to a big screen, and Wi-Fi keeps you connected.

The villa’s tall thatched roof hides bright, airy living spaces. The great room, which runs parallel to the pool and beach, features high ceilings with exposed thatch and opens to the deck via a series of fold-away doors. Low-slung white sectionals make the sitting area inviting, while coral and turquoise pillows and colorful otomi-inspired artwork add cheer. Enjoy meals from the fully equipped kitchen in director-style chairs in the breezy dining room.

Each of the four bedrooms at Casa Cantarena has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. There are three rooms with king beds and one room with two double beds. Soft shades of sand, coral and turquoise make the bedrooms feel serene, while showers clad in stone and wood give the bathrooms a spa-worthy vibe.

It’s easy to explore the Riviera Maya from the villa’s beachfront location. It’s 3 miles to the Mayan arch entrance to the Sian Ka’an reserve, 17 miles to cave adventures at Cenote Aktun Chen and 40 miles to the main Riviera Maya resort area. If you’d like to explore the region’s other beaches, head to Barceló Maya Beach, 25 miles away, or Catalonia Yucatan Beach, 27 miles away. Play a round at Campo de Golf Puerto Aventura, 26 miles away, or perfect your game at one of two tennis courts about 27 miles away.

Luxury Retreats and/or the Host’s responsibility extends solely to the immediate premises of the rented Property, and that no compensation will be considered in relation to limitation in the experience of the destination that may come as a consequence to the Seaweed Surge or with the local cleaning efforts.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Firm 95 days

• Cancel up to 95 days before your trip and get a 50% refund of accommodation fees. Cancel within 95 days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
