Drawing its inspiration from traditional hacienda architecture, Casa de Phoenix features open-concept living spaces that are both airy and welcoming. The double-height foyer opens into a dramatic living room with a vaulted ceiling. This leads to a dining room with seating for eight and a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast bar.

There are three bedrooms in the villa’s main house and one in a separate casita that’s ideal for couples seeking honeymoon-style privacy or in-laws wanting a quieter stay. The main house has one bedroom with a California king bed, one with a queen bed and one with two full beds, and the casita has a queen bed. All four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

From Casa de Phoenix’s setting in the exclusive Las Residencias gated community, it’s a 5-minute walk to Punta Ballena Beach and a 10-minute drive to Medano Beach, one of the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. If you’d prefer to snorkel, make the 10-minute drive toward San Jose del Cabo to Chileno Bay, where you can rent equipment and set off into clear waters.
