Bask in the famed Baja sun at the beautiful Villa Delfines. Set on the water in the exclusive community of Villa del Mar, the property has panoramic views of the sea; the only thing between you and the warm white sands of Cabo Real Beach is the terrace, pool and garden. Though the six-bedroom villa is new, with modern features like a swim-up bar and fold-back glass walls, old world-inspired details give it traditional charm.

Villa Delfines opens to a shaded terrace with sitting and dining areas. Just beyond, there’s a sunny deck with chaise longues, a gently curved heated pool with a jetted tub and, at one end of the pool, a palapa with a swim-up bar and gas barbecue. After a day in the pool or on the beach, rinse off in the al-fresco shower and gather outdoors around the firepit or indoors by the bar, pool table or ping-pong table.

On the outside, stately columns and tiled roofs give Villa Delfines Mediterranean flair, but as soon as you enter, a dolphin sculpture in the foyer hints at the more whimsical touches to come. Warm tones of yellow, cream and tan on the walls and upholstery make the villa’s interiors cozy and welcoming, while bold artwork keeps things friendly and fun. In the dining room, double-height ceilings and a wrought-iron chandelier draw the eye up, but playful yellow chairs mean there’s interest at every level. The modern kitchen is not only fully equipped, it has a small breakfast table as well.

Each of the villa’s six bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom. On the lower level, there’s one bedroom with a king bed and one with two double beds. The main level has one bedroom with two queen beds and ocean views and one bedroom with a king bed; both have access to the balcony. Upstairs, you’ll find the master suite, which has a king bed, jetted tub, balcony access and ocean views, and another bedroom with a king bed.

The villa boasts direct access to Cabo Real Beach, but if you’d like to explore other beaches in the area, it’s about 13 miles to both Tabasco and Médano beaches and 14 miles to Pedregal Beach. Play a round at Cabo Real Golf Club, 1.5 miles away, or a few sets at Canchas de Tenis, 8 miles away, or Tennis Club Pedregal, 15 miles away. Take an afternoon or two to explore San Jose del Cabo, 9 miles away, Land’s End, 14.5 miles away and Cabo del Sol, 15 miles away, and enjoy the dining and nightlife in Cabo San Lucas, 14 miles away. At the end of your stay, make your connection at Los Cabos International Airport, 16 miles away.

• All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in.
• No pets are allowed unless specifically pre-authorized.
• No smoking permitted inside the property.
• No events such as weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties will be permitted unless they are specifically pre-authorized. Event fees may apply if approved.
• Occupancy: The total number of persons allowed at any time is restricted to the contracted number of guests for each reservation. Renter must disclose the number of persons in his/her group as well as the name of every member of his/her group and the reason for stay.
• Excessive noise is not allowed at any time. Quiet time is 10pm-10am.
• 7 night minimum for 12/25 and 1/1, if taking both holidays a 14 night minimum is required.
• High School/College spring break groups not permitted.
• Maximum 11 guests. Extra charge of $100 per person per night up to 15 guests.
