This split-level, Mediterranean-style townhouse in the Merlin Bay complex is ideal for a relaxing holiday in the Caribbean sun. Home to several of our villas in Barbados, this development offers private accommodation and luxurious shared amenities in a prime beachfront setting.

Take your pick when it comes to swimming: in addition to a small private plunge pool, there is a shared lagoon-style pool – and then, of course, the Caribbean just a few steps away. Firefly is set amid luxuriant tropical vegetation, providing a wonderfully relaxing sense of privacy and seclusion.

Enjoy a coffee on the balcony overlooking the gardens and pool, with the blue Caribbean beyond, or dine alfresco on the small terracotta patio adjacent to the pool. The patio is accessed through the French doors of the bright, air-conditioned living area, with its open-plan dining area and attractive furnishings and artwork. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped, and there is also a cook service included in the nightly rate.

The master bedroom offers sea views from its private balcony. All three of the bedrooms are ensuite; two are located upstairs, and one is on the main level.

Firefly provides direct access to a beautiful swimming beach, via a private stairway. The Merlin complex is situated close to historic Holetown, where you will find local shops and restaurants. If you’re a golfer, the prestigious Sandy Lane course is also within easy reach.

Firm 95 days

• Cancel up to 95 days before your trip and get a 50% refund of accommodation fees. Cancel within 95 days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
