Your stay at Azzurro includes two meals prepared by a chef each day, housekeeper and security service and even a butler to serve refreshments on the beach. Guests of Old Trees share a free-form oceanfront pool, beach umbrellas and sun loungers, but Azzurro also has its own private plunge pool. Explore the water in the kayak, or bring back local seafood to prepare on the barbecue and enjoy at the al-fresco dining area.

Generous open-plan interiors elevate this villa to a truly luxe beachfront home. In the ocean-facing great room, marble-slab floors are cool underfoot, high pickled-wood tray ceilings let the breeze circulate, and recently retouched coral moldings and arched doorways feel stately and traditional. A roomy sectional is especially welcoming after a day in the sun, and the formal dining area seats up to six. When you’re not sampling meals prepared by the chef, it’s a pleasure to make your own in the fully equipped kitchen.

Each of the two bedrooms at Azzurro has an en-suite bathroom and opens to a terrace; the master suite has a king bed and the second bedroom has two double beds. Breezy tray ceilings, coral-stone walls and French doors with full-length drapes make for a romantic, relaxed feel in the bedrooms.

Set in one of the most spectacular locations on the Platinum Coast, Old Trees is on Paynes Bay Beach, a short walk from postcard-perfect Sandy Lane Beach and a short drive from three other beaches. If you’d like to see more of the island, take a tour of the Mount Gay Rum Distillery, book a tee time at the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course or explore the shopping and dining options in nearby Holetown and Bridgetown. CANCELLATION POLICY

Firm 95 days

• Cancel up to 95 days before your trip and get a 50% refund of accommodation fees. Cancel within 95 days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
