Like its namesake, Sunflower is turned toward the sun. Set on the sandy stretch of Jumby Bay Beach in the Pond Bay community, the villa boasts spectacular bay views from nearly every room and an open-plan layout that lets ocean breezes waft through. Three bedrooms and an extra children’s room offer space for the whole family, and access to the Jumby Bay Resort amenities puts fun in the sun (and water) at your fingertips.

Enjoy views of Jumby Bay Beach from the lounging and dining areas on the villa’s terrace, or simply cross the lawn to the villa itself. If the sun gets too hot, retreat to the hammock that’s tucked into a grove of palm trees. Walk, take the complimentary golf cart or ride the resort bicycles to shared amenities like pools, a fitness center and tennis courts. You can borrow watersports equipment, test your skills on the croquet lawn and putting green or learn about the island’s wildlife at the Hawksbill Turtle Project. Meals and beverages at the resort are included in your stay at Sunflower.

Walls of louvered doors let you turn the villa into an indoor-outdoor living area, while vaulted ceilings and an open layout give a sense of spaciousness. Tile floors and dark wood accents lend traditional Caribbean charm, and clean-lined sofas and armchairs with botanical-print pillows invite you to relax. For your convenience, Sunflower has a fully equipped kitchen and offers Wi-Fi access.

There are two bedrooms on the main floor of Sunflower and one upstairs; all three have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The main-level master suite has a king bed and opens to a terrace, and the second main-floor bedroom also has a king bed. The upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and its own balcony. Families traveling with kids can use the children’s room, which has two twin beds, for extra accommodations.

Your stay at Sunflower starts when you’re greeted at the airport. From V.C. Bird International Airport, it’s a 5-minute drive to the ferry docks, a 7-minute boat ride from Antigua proper to the private island on which Jumby Bay Resort is located and a half-mile walk or ride from the Jumby Bay ferry dock to the villa itself. Sunflower is set right on Jumby Bay Beach, a 1-minute walk from Pasture Bay Beach and  the Hawksbill Turtle Project.

• There are mandatory airport transfer fees.
• Guests arriving into V. C. Bird International Airport in Antigua can connect to Jumby Bay Island with the Jumby Bay resort ferry. A mandatory $85.00 per adult transfer fee includes a welcome at Antigua’s airport and escort by private car or van to the resort’s private ferry for journey to Jumby Bay. The transfer fee also includes return transfers to Antigua’s airport upon departure. Transfers are $40.00 + applicable taxes round-trip for children ages 2-12 years old and are complimentary for children under 2 years of age.
• Airport transfer fees for Guests arriving via private plane are available upon request. The current fee for Guests arriving via private plane is $150.00 + applicable taxes. This fee is a flat rate charged by the government, and is additional to the transfer fee charged by Jumby Bay.
