Inside, the coral stone walls, travertine floors and pickled-pine ceilings of Tradewinds give it a classic feel that’s inspired by centuries of Caribbean architecture. Arched doorways, plush area rugs, matching sofas and a wrought-iron chandelier lend a refined luxury to the open-plan living and dining room. The look continues in the fully equipped kitchen, which has granite countertops and state-of-the-art appliances.

Each of the four bedrooms at this gracious vacation rental has an en-suite bathroom. There are three bedrooms with queen beds, including one that opens to a terrace and one that opens to a balcony, and one bedroom with a king bed and a balcony.

With more than an acre of land, Tradewinds feels quiet and private. But it’s still only a short drive from beaches such as Paynes Bay, Sandy Lane and Gibbes, where you can join couples on honeymoon and jet-setters on vacation to enjoy the soft sands and warm waters.
