Villa Aguamarina has its own heated plunge pool, hot tub, and terrace with lounging and dining areas, a barbecue, hammock and al-fresco shower. Thanks to a media room and sound system, you can watch the waves during the day and immerse yourself in the digital movie and music libraries at night. Guests enjoy access to shared amenities in Porta Fortuna like the beach club, restaurant (which provides room service) and yoga studio.

The villa’s interiors are sleek and thoughtfully appointed, but never sparse. White walls, pale stone floors and an open-plan layout give the great room a clean, calm feeling that’s warmed up by soft white sofas and an upholstered ottoman in the sitting area and a rich walnut table, chairs and shelves in the dining area. The fully equipped kitchen is a cook’s dream, with granite countertops, Scavolini cabinets and top-of-the-line appliances.

The villa has one bedroom on the ground level and two upstairs; all three have en-suite bathrooms with dual vanities. The ground-floor bedroom has a king bed and outdoor shower. On the second floor, one bedroom has a king bed, the other has two double beds and both have balconies with ocean views.

A location within the gated community of Punta Mita means you can easily walk to the beach at Banderas Bay, 1 minute away, a restaurant, 2 minutes away, and the golf course, 10 minutes away. Take the car to Punta Mita Village, 15 minutes away, or Sayulita Village, 12 miles away, both of which have shopping and dining, or downtown Puerto Vallarta, 28.5 miles away. At the end of your stay, plan on a 27-mile drive to Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport.
