The outdoor living areas at this vacation rental are practically on the sand and feature a pool with a swim-up bar, a sun-splashed terrace lined with loungers, a shaded bar area, a charcoal barbecue and an outdoor shower. After a day by the pool or on the beach, let the house’s air conditioning cool you down as you enjoy the satellite TV, Wi-Fi and surround-sound system.
Graceful arches and wide sliding doors lead from the terrace into the villa’s sophisticated interiors. In the living and dining rooms, an eclectic mix delivers unexpected pairings: striped traditional blankets with ikat prints, or bistro-style chairs with a live-edge table. The gourmet kitchen has professional-grade appliances and wide granite countertops.
Villa Carolina has three bedrooms with king beds, including one with its own private living room, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. There is also one bedroom with two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom and one bedroom with a double bed. Like the main living areas, the bedrooms use vibrant colors and bold motifs to playful effect.
The white sands of Playa Paraiso just in front of the villa are ideal for everything from building castles to honeymoon-style strolls to a refreshing swim. A 5-minute walk will bring you to a golf course, restaurant and the nearest gym. From the villa’s postcard-worthy setting in the heart of the Riviera Maya, you’re also a 5-minute drive from quieter Puerto Morelos and a 15-minute drive from lively Playa del Carmen.
