As its name implies, Villa Cielo is a heavenly Los Cabos escape. With views to the horizon over the Sea of Cortez and a gorgeous white-sand beach just a short walk away, the villa is the perfect place to discover the region’s natural beauty, but man-made wonders like golf, tennis and downtown Cabo San Lucas are just a short drive away. Influenced by traditional Mexican architecture, the property’s open-plan interiors and four suite-style bedrooms have definite modern appeal, too.

Several terraces, all with ocean views, create multiple zones for entertaining or relaxing. Start the day with a coffee on the shaded lounge area, move to the saltwater infinity pool or jetted tub as the sun climbs higher and spend the afternoon in a chaise longue looking out at the sea. There’s an outdoor kitchen area with a gas barbecue and al-fresco dining table, and for evening entertainment, flip on the surround sound system or satellite TV or catch up via Wi-Fi.

In the villa’s open-plan great room, sand-colored walls, neutral furnishings and large fold-away glass walls both echo the hues of the beach and let the sea views become the focal point. The sitting area has exposed beams and carved wood chairs for traditional charm, while a striped rug and terracotta-toned sectional add both softness and color. Orange upholstery and bright contemporary artwork are bold, playful touches in the adjacent dining room, and the fully equipped kitchen has beautiful stone countertops and a generous island layout.

All four bedrooms at Villa Cielo have en-suite bathrooms and access to a terrace or balcony. There are three bedrooms with king beds and ocean views, including the master suite, which also has its own jetted tub. The fourth bedroom has two double beds. Like the main living areas, the bedrooms are outfitted in soft tones of sand and pink, with royal blue and lime green pillows and colorful artwork as vibrant accents.

If you’ve come to Los Cabos in search of sun, you’ll appreciate the 4-minute walk to Punta Bella Beach, the 17-mile drive to Tabasco Beach and the 18-mile drive to Médano Beach. Perfect your serve at Canchas de Tenis, 5 miles away, or Tennis Club Pedregal, 19 miles away, or your swing at Cabo Real Golf Club, 6.5 miles away. Plan to spend an afternoon exploring San Jose del Cabo, 5 miles away, Land’s End, 19 miles away, or Cabo del Sol, just over 19 miles away, and an evening dining and dancing in Cabo San Lucas, 18 miles away. At the end of your stay, plan on a 12-mile drive from Villa Cielo to Los Cabos International Airport.

• All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in.
• No pets are allowed unless specifically pre-authorized.
• No smoking permitted inside the property.
• No events such as weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties will be permitted unless they are specifically pre-authorized. Event fees may apply if approved.
• Occupancy: The total number of persons allowed at any time is restricted to the contracted number of guests for each reservation. Renter must disclose the number of persons in his/her group as well as the name of every member of his/her group and the reason for stay.
• Excessive noise is not allowed at any time. Quiet time is 10pm-10am.
• 7 night minimum for 12/25 and 1/1, if taking both holidays a 14 night minimum is required.
• High School/College spring break groups not permitted.
• Maximum 10 guests. Extra charge of $50 per person per night exceeding 8 guests.
