You won’t have to look hard for the beach at Villa de la Playa; as its name implies, a gorgeous stretch of white sand and an expanse of blue sea are right at your doorstep. Thanks to its location in the gated community of Costa Brava, halfway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, the villa is also close to tennis, golf and shopping and dining. An extensive patio and six suite-style bedrooms provide the perfect setting for family vacations or special celebrations.

A pretty stone-walled courtyard and burbling fountain welcome you to Villa de la Playa. Its charms continue on the ocean side, with a covered section of the terrace harboring a lounge area, a pergola-covered dining area and a row of chaise longues in the shelter of a few umbrellas. A heated infinity pool and hammock are ideal spots to spend an afternoon, and a gas barbecue and jetted tub take the evening shift.

The villa’s relaxed interiors are perfectly suited to its beachy setting. In the great room, the living room, dining room and kitchen are open to the courtyard via a fold-away glass wall. Sand-toned tile floors and cream-colored walls feel warm and inviting, and wicker sofas and chairs and a farmhouse-style dining table round out the casual vibe. The fully equipped kitchen has room for almost the whole family at a long breakfast bar.

Each of the six bedrooms at Villa de la Playa has its own en-suite bathroom. On the villa’s lower level, there are two bedrooms with queen beds. On the upper level, there are two bedrooms with queen beds, one of which also has a jetted tub, one bedroom with two double beds and one bedroom with a double bed.

Plan to fly into Los Cabos International Airport, a 17-mile drive from the villa. Once you’ve arrived, you’re right on Costa Brava Beach and about a 14-mile drive from both Tabasco Beach and Medano Beach. Play a round at Cabo Real Golf Club, 3 miles away, or a few games at Canchas de Tenis, 9 miles away, or Tennis Club Pedregal, 15 miles away. Take time during your stay to visit San Jose del Cabo, 9 miles away, Cabo San Lucas, 14.5 miles away, Land’s End, 15 miles away, and Cabo del Sol, 16 miles away.

• All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in.
• No pets are allowed unless specifically pre-authorized.
• No smoking permitted inside the property.
• No events such as weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties will be permitted unless they are specifically pre-authorized. Event fees may apply if approved.
• Occupancy: The total number of persons allowed at any time is restricted to the contracted number of guests for each reservation. Renter must disclose the number of persons in his/her group as well as the name of every member of his/her group and the reason for stay.
• Excessive noise is not allowed at any time. Quiet time is 10pm-10am.
• 7 night minimum for 12/25 and 1/1, if taking both holidays a 14 night minimum is required.
• High School/College spring break groups not permitted.
• Maximum 12 guests.
