Relax in the swimming pool and hot tub, relive your honeymoon with a stroll along the beach, recline in a lounger on the terrace or hammock or sip refreshments at the outdoor bar while the sound system plays a favorite album. Heat up the barbecue and watch for whales offshore as you sit down at the al-fresco dining area under a palapa. If the evening turns cool—or you just want a cozier ambience—step inside to enjoy the wood-burning fireplaces.

Designed to reflect the colors, textures and architecture of Mexico, Villa Las Rocas is laid out around a beautiful great room with expansive living and dining areas. There’s an inviting built-in sectional, polished stone tables that nod to the villa’s name, which means “the rocks,” and rustic bentwood dining chairs, all capped by a soaring traditional thatched roof. The fully equipped kitchen is equally memorable, with state-of-the-art appliances and vibrant tiled countertops.

The villa’s master suite and six individual casitas, all with en-suite bathrooms, are perfect for families or friends on holiday together. Choose from the lavish master suite, which has a California king, hot tub and access to the beach, or comfortable yet practical casitas with full beds, roll-out beds and their own kitchenettes. All have the same Mainland Mexico–inspired style, colorful decor and authentic charm as the main living areas.

While the gated property keeps Villa Las Rocas feeling tranquil and tucked-away, the compound is still close to the must-sees in Cabo San Lucas. There are three golf courses within a 15-minute drive, and the shopping, dining and nightlife of both downtown Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are 20 minutes away. El Tule Beach, directly in front of the villa, is a bit rocky for swimming, but it’s a 5-minute drive or less to two other beaches in the Blue Sea and Costa Brava area.

General rules

Additional rules

• All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in.
• No pets are allowed unless specifically pre-authorized.
• No smoking permitted inside the property.
• No events such as weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties will be permitted unless they are specifically pre-authorized. Event fees may apply if approved.
• Occupancy: The total number of persons allowed at any time is restricted to the contracted number of guests for each reservation. Renter must disclose the number of persons in his/her group as well as the name of every member of his/her group and the reason for stay.
• Excessive noise is not allowed at any time. Quiet time is 10pm-10am.
• 7 night minimum for 12/25 and 1/1, if taking both holidays a 14 night minimum is required.
• High School/College spring break groups not permitted.
• Maximum of 22 guests (16 adults and 6 children). Extra charge of $100 per person per night exceeding 14 guests.
